Meet Miss Barker

This is Miss Barker’s eighth year teaching kindergarten at Blossom Hill School. She always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher and loves working with young children. She grew up in the Bay Area and moved down to Santa Cruz for college, where she earned a bachelors degree in Community Studies. After teaching in a few pre-schools and a private school, she decided to get her masters degree in Education and become a teacher in the public school system. She feels so fortunate to be teaching in Los Gatos and loves the community. When she is not teaching, she loves traveling, riding her bike, reading, being at the ocean and time spent with family and friends.
