Students in Grades 3 – 5 may ride bikes/scooters to Blossom Hill School, but must have signed parent permission to do so. Students younger than 3rd grade may ride to school when accompanied by an adult. We also recommend students ride to school with an adult or with other students.
- Bike riders MUST wear safety helmets for their own protection when riding bikes to school. This is now a state law.
Bicycles must be walked on sidewalks in front of the school and on any school walk or corridor.
Use hand signals to let cars know which direction you’re turning. Straight arm signals left; bent elbow signals right.
Bicycles will be parked and locked in the bicycle racks located on the playground near the Clubhouse.
Standing around in the bike rack area is not permitted. Lock your bike and leave the area immediately.
Pedestrians always have the right of way.
- Parents and students should write downt the serial number, brand, color and the rim size of the bicycle. That information will needed if the bicycle turns up missing.
